Let’s hope the weather improves for the weekends racing and car show events. Stock car racing is taking place at both Race City in Calgary and Rocky Mountain Raceway Park in High River.

Friday August 14

• Secret Street Drag Racing and Autocross at 
  Race City
  

Saturday August 15

• CORA - Stock Car Racing at Race City, Calgary featuring Hobby Stocks, Mini-Stocks and Claimers in the feature.
• RMRP (Rocky Mountain Raceway Park – High River) Sportsman Sprint Cars, Wissota Latemodels  and Stock Cars
• Spring Hill Charity S/S, Cochrane, AB
• Northern Mopars 20th Mopar Magic S/S, Calgary

Sunday August 16

• CKRC - Kart Racing at Varsity Speedpark (south of Race City)
• Olde Town Okotoks S/S, Okotoks, AB
• Just 4 Fun – 4th Annual Fun Run, Calgary

This weekend features some Autoslalom
action in both Calgary and Red Deer as well
as the Club Vee-Dub ‘Das Volks’, a weekend
of fun by and for VW enthusiasts.

Friday August 7

• Secret Street Drag Racing and Autocross at 
  Race City
  
• Club Vee-Dub – Drag Racing and Drive-In Movie
  (Ferris Buehler’s Day Off) at Race City

Saturday August 8

• CSCC Autoslalom Event #10, Red Deer Westerner Grounds
  
• SASC (Southern Alberta Solo Club – Autoslalom event at Grey Eagle Casino, Calgary
  
• RMRP (Rocky Mountain Raceway Park – High River) Sportsman Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds and Stock Cars
• WCMA, ARCA and CVRC are hosting a weekend of Road Racing at Race City.  Featured is the annual ‘Vintage on the Prairies’.  Volunteer marshals are needed
• Club Vee-Dub Das Volks continues with a Pancake Breakfast, Poker Run and BBQ
• 9th Annual Airdrie Summer Classis Show and Shine

Sunday August 9

• WCMA, ARCA and CVRC are hosting a weekend of Road Racing at Race City. Volunteer marshals are needed
• SASC (Southern Alberta Solo Club – Autoslalom event at Grey Eagle Casino, Calgary
• Porcupine Hills Classic Cruise Show and Shine, Claresholm, Alberta
